The High School Football Huddle
The proliferation of big interstate high school football games will continue in 2009. Two-time defending Texas 5A champ Katy will host Washington state football power Bellevue on Saturday, September 12.
Bellevue has won six of the last eight 3A Washington state football championships, and is best known as the team that snapped De La Salle's record 151-game win streak. In addition to winning back-to-back 5A titles, Katy has played in the title game four of the last six years.
