by Jeff Fisher

Rumors of former Seattle Seahawks head coach Jim Mora being a coach at Bellevue High School may have been over exaggerated.

Several days after The Seattle Times reported that Wolverine head coach Butch Goncharoff indicated that Mora might be helping his program this season as a coach,  Mora told the Times, that wasn't the case.  However, if you read reporter Danny O'Neil's story, you'll notice that Mora didn't deny that he will be helping out in some way.

by Jeff Fisher
Washington High School Football Huddle

It's not unusual to see former NFL players taking to the high school sidelines to begin their coaching careers, but it's not everyday that a former NFL head coach goes back to school.

The Seattle Times is reporting that Jim Mora, who was fired by the Seattle Seahawks at the end of last season, will have some role with the Bellevue football program for the upcoming season.  The Times is also reporting that Mora's former assistant coach Chris Beake will be the Wolverines' defensive coordinator.

Two wins short of 250 career victories, Tom Ingles has stepped away from the head coaching job at Puyallup.

According to the Seattle Times, the 2005 inductee into the Washingotn State Football Hall of Fame isn't ready to hang-up the coaching clipboard. In 33-years, Ingles has a record of 248-103 with three state championships...two at Kentwood (2001 and 2002) and one at Liberty (1988).
